If the Steelers would win the Super Bowl next year who would be the Team of the decade ? NE or Pitts .That would be 3 each in ten years .

I'd still go with the Pats, because they can always say they went 16-0 and played in one more SB than the Steelers did this decade. Also, the Pats didn't really have any off years in the decade whereas the Steelers did. The Steelers have been very lucky, but that's just my opinion. And they won't win the SB next year - yet another opinion of mine. :)

I agree it would take an undefeated season and winning the SB for the Steelers to unseat the Patriots as the team of the decade. The Patriots have won more games than the Steelers since the decade started. Played in four SB's while winning three of them. The icing on the cake is the record setting 16-0 regular season and Brady's record setting TD passes.

I think both teams are great, but there are times when I get tired of seeing the same team winning over & over again. I generally feel that way with just about any sport. In baseball: New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves. In basketball: Chicago Bulls. I'm just glad that dominate teams tend to change over the years (like the ones I mentioned).

I honestly think that team sports are largely controlled by the League office. As far as pure competition goes, I can not think of a major sport that does not seem to have "marching orders" to control the outcomes by officials.
They are quickly becoming as fake as professional wrestling is.

Where professional wrestling relies on scripts (at least they are honest about it), team sports rely on officiating to accomplish this.

Steelers as I think the Pats should have that 16-0 record taken away.
Over the cheating thing. Sorry if I offend any Pats fans.
    But it's the truth.

Considering it was during the preseason when they were caught, their 16-0 was very real.
