Maybe EWF can chime in on this. Mayor Booker won a convincing victory for the US Senate over his Republican challenger in a special election on Wednesday. http://www.nytimes.com/projects/elections/2013/nj-special/senate/map.html What makes this so amazing is that the same electorate voted for Governor Christie, and Christie himself is up for reelection in a few weeks. In fact, he has been seen as a possible candidate for President in 2016. http://www.theatlanticwire.com/politics/2013/06/chris-christie-sets-special-election/65878/ I guess the question would be, what issues have New Jersey voters splitting their ticket like this. Both men win convincing victories, yet both appear to be polar opposites.
