It may be old news to you ...

Bush Increasing Religious Allusions Yahoo News

    WASHINGTON - President Bush,
often portrayed as using a strict good-and-evil compass to navigate national issues, has always peppered his speeches with exhortations to moral and civic duty. With war, tragedy and terrorism confronting him now, his allusions to spirituality and morality seem to be increasing.

The only thing Bush found were free votes from the unsuspecting and the ignorant.

Try comparing Jimmy Carter with George Bush.

Im still forgiving myself when I look at Carter and Remembering Him as being weak..
He Was so Strong..compared to GW

Being President of The United States and A Born Again Christian...

The only religion Bush Has is in the capability of His speech writers and handlers.

The Art of Carpet bagging is still alive and well.

At least He's not a fake Like Clinton...Right?

the thing about clinton was that he didn't try to hide the fact that he was a lying, cheating scumbag. i'm not saying GWB is any of those things, but he certainly isn't a "model christian" just because he makes a few "religious" comments occasionally.

I don't know GWB personally, so I will refrain from questioning his Spiritual condition. I do know however, judging from fruit, that Clintons claims to be a baptist made me want to yell out repent. I know I am not perfect, and was lees perfect before than now.

I pray that God would open his eyes to the condition of our nation and cause him to want to change things for the better.

I pray that if he refuses to attend to those things that God would remove him from office.

I did not and will not vote for him unless he makes a radical transformation from his evil ways.

and I voted for him..fortunately it was with an excuse....the "lesser of two evils".

and by the way..Us Grown-ups do Judge.
    I Use a Standard..My Lord, Jesus Christ..

I just dont particularly like the religious double speak that he purposefully interjects in his political addresses.

No need. He has publicly professed turning his heart to Christ.

    I Cor 5:3

For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

What a person says is not subject to judgement but the acts that follow after are rightly, scripturally open for judgement. If I say that I am a Christian then let it stand and God is my only judge. When I say that I am a Christian and steal old widow's money then my actions are open. (This is only an example, not in any way referring to the President) If I say that I am a Christian President then I need to "let my walk talk more than my talk talks".

    Thanks ------Bart

Any of you ever mess up as a Christian? I know I do. The difference is that the whole world isn't watching and Monday morning quarter-backing your every move! I'm sure any of us would look just as bad, if not worse than Mr. Bush if we were scrutinized the way he is.

The man ran for President, not leader of the U.S. Christian community. He was elected. Build a bridge and get over it.

For the life of me I cannot understand why a Christian would complain about a Christian President…. What is wrong with that picture?

Because GW Claims to Be the President First and A Christian..Well after no.1.

if you say that you love your brother but within the same breath are dropping Bombs on your enemies neighbors..would you say oops and claim temporary unchristianlike behavior..I was really not killing anyone and Im not even reponsible. well I did give the order..but I didnt pull the trigger.
    Yea thats the ticket

being caesar and a christian dont mix. not in GW's case. The responsibilities of his office depends on his capabilities of at times doing very unchristian things..

No christian can ever judge the actions of any human being. Even less if their another christian?
    Wrong answer. anyway..its an observation.

In My world actions speak louder than words. sometimes actions speak totally different messages than their words.

    GW's a politician FIRST..and a christian..

Im sure if he would stop peppering his political speeches with religious retorict...at least his lies would seem less obvious.
