This news just in: All the Wal-Marts across Alabama sold out of ammunition last week.

A reliable source said many of the purchasers commented that while Russia may have invaded Georgia, they sure as heck ain't doing the same to Alabama! :tonofbricks:

What's the joke? I almost flew back to Alabama to help defend her when I heard the commies had invaded Georgia :).

Having similar names like that can be confusing. When I traveled to Cleveland, GA from Michigan, I saw a sign that said Cleveland and turned there. I stopped at a gas station and asked about the place I wanted to find, and they had no idea what I was talking about. I said, "Isn't this Cleveland, Georgia?" Someone said, "No, it's Cleveland, Tennessee."

Before traveling to Cleveland, GA, the only Cleveland I had heard of was in Ohio. I also learned that my home city of Battle Creek, MI isn't the only Battle Creek. There are at least two others. There's also a Moscow in Michigan. Hell and Paradise are also there. They had a big shin-dig in Hell, and you could buy a T shirt saying "I've been to Hell."
