I bet that was nerve-wracking...I mean the BB-withdrawls and such. I got banned once, and came back later after I got the knot out of my underwear. I think it takes some people awhile to realize that despite this being the Internet, common courtesy still applies. Anonymity always tempts people to take the bridal off of thier tongues.

Adopted by God I appreciate the post. I also apprciate the advise from Post it. A note to BB it is funny how whatever wording I place where I remove something annoys someone. [IMG]

Perhaps you can just make the edit and then comment that the post was "Edited for content". That way your interpretation of the matter is neutral.

Well, I don't feel my remarks were in any way racist, but it ain't my board. I only hope that such edits are consistent, even if racist remarks support the Christian fundamentalist extremist agenda that is often prevalent on this board.

Gentlemen, As it has been discussed several times there is a procedure to follow if you feel you have been wronged here but airing the problem on the open forum is not the way. I have not received a PM from either of you and there is where the discussion should have started. My advise is that you both drop this and follow the rules of engagement in the future.

Before you zap the thread AdoptedByGod, I'd like to share with you an email message which we got back for protesting the aforementioned stamp. Here it is:

Well, Barnabas, at least you got a reply. I didn't.

Now, finding out that Pres. Bush (then Gov.) et al Republicans & Democrats were nodding their approval on the Ramadan stamp, it's pretty easy to figure out why USPS has no plans to pull the new stamp!

    From my previous post:

I may be disheartened for now, but I'm still gonna "occupy until He comes!"

But ONE DAY, EVERY KNEE, no matter what religion they may profess or claim or not claim to have, EVERY KNEE is going to BOW to JESUS CHRIST, King of Kings & LORD of LORDS!

And it won't be Muhammed who's sitting on the throne! [IMG] HALLELUJAH!

Glad you asked, Johnv! [IMG] Because the Nation of Israel is the Apple of God's Eye:

    Zech.2
[8] For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

Because God says we should Bless Israel & has promised to bless the person or nation that blesses Israel.

Genesis 12:3 "And I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all nations of the earth be blessed."

Because if it wasn't for Jews rejecting Christ, Gentiles would have not received the Gospel.

Paul recorded in Romans 15:27 "For if the Gentiles have shared in their (the Jews) spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things."

Because my Savior & Redeemer is a Jew.

"Salvation is of the Jews!" (John 4:22) Jesus considered the Jewish people His family. Jesus said (Matthew 25:40) "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren (the Jewish people ... Gentiles were never called His brethren), ye have done it unto Me."

Jesus never denied His Jewishness. He was born Jewish. He was circumcised on the eighth day in keeping with Jewish tradition. He had His Bar Mitzvah on His 13th birthday. He kept the law of Moses. He wore the Prayer Shawl Moses commanded all Jewish men to wear. He died on a cross with an inscription over His head, "King of the Jews!"

Because the Jewish people/nation of Israel have given me: Jesus, the Sacred Scriptures, the Prophets, the Patriarchs, the twelve Disciples, and the Apostles.

How is it possible for someone to say, "I am a Christian" and not love the Jewish people?

....and because my country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles! Not Muslim. So, thanks for asking! [IMG]

How is it possible for someone to say, "I am a Christian" and not love all God's people, be they Christian, Muslim, Jew, or other?

</font>[/QUOTE]Hahaha! Actually, they tend to be seasonal. You see them every year, at Hanukkah, for example. I've got two in my junk drawer at home. Wait, I'm a bachelor. Every drawer at home is a junk drawer ;)

it would only be fitting and fair to offer a Christian Postage Stamp

Nothing wrong with that. Christianity has been a symbol onstamps several times, not just at Christmas and Easter. I still have 20 Madonna and Child stamps right now. They're Christian.

If you campaign for one, I'd probably support you, depending on the design.
