Of course, the majority of scientists aren't atheists, and yes, if you want to get the straight stuff about the subject, you have to ask scientists and get the consensus from people who actually know about it.

Good stewardship, yes. And don't assume anything, ditto on that as well. That means, to me, don't assume Al Gore knows everything. Don't stop American production over something that can't be proven. Global warming isn't in scripture. There are a lot of things that are true, that aren't in scripture.

How is acknowledging global warming not a libertarian idea? You've confused acknowledging the truth, with saying that something particular must be done with it. I did the former, but not the latter. Not that it seems to matter to you.

What does evolution and atheism have to do with the topic? We all share the planet; atheists and theists, evolutionists and creationists, CEOs and hobos. We had better work with everyone to insure we take care of the earth's bountiful resources.
