    Daisy,

They are the ones who are the murderer, many times even of their own people. They don't wish to achieve peace and have no real reason to try. Israel has given them land, they have offered many deals to try and settle this. The IDF protected Palestinians from Israeli extremists during the whole Gaza Pullout. The ONLY answer that makes sense and that will work is for there to be reciprocity and accountability on both sides. It is the old Netanyahu policy: If they give, then they will get. If they don't, then they won't.

Palestinians are not the Borg; they do not think with a single collective mind.

I didn't say they were. I am referring to the Hamas terrorist group. If you will read my post again, you will note that I pointed out that many of the Palestinians who are murdered are murdered by Hamas and other terrorist organizations amongst the Palestinians as well...sometimes because they cooperate with the IDF in finding terrorists.

When you said "They" it wasn't clear that you meant only the Hamas.

Anyway, we shall see what the future brings.

 [IMG] What a heinous atrocity!!!! Military action should be taken.

Oh yeah, well, I didn't mean it so much as a comparison as cause for a ray of optimism that just maybe if Hamas successfully negotiates a peace settlement that they won't be seen by the extremist Palestinians as "selling out". Maybe they can pull it off. </font>[/QUOTE]They are the extremist Palestinians and highly supported by the Palestinians. I find it hard to believe you are so naïve on the facts. For the record Hamas is not an ethnic group they are the political representation of the Palestinians. The majority of the Palestinians elected a well known terrorist group, Hamas, I think it’s fair to say where the majority of Palestinians stand. Denial will not change fact.

Daisy how do you feel about the terrorist attack in Tel Aviv? Also where do you stand with Hamas the elected representation of the Palestinians?

I feel that it is an atrocity.

I think it's interesting. I don't know what will happen or who the players are really, but Hamas has been the main social benevolent association in Palestine as well as a big terrorist organization. The young lions are older now, maybe, hopefully wiser. That it is well-organized may bode well if it can transfer those skills to governing. Perhaps it will be less corrupt than the old PLA. If the heads have any sense of self-preservation, they will negotiate where the PLA would not.

Remember there was a time when the situation in Lebanon seemed hopeless.
