NLT Study Bible

    I'm thinking of getting a New Living Translation study bible for my daily devotions. Does anyone else use this?

    I used to really get tied up on translations but have started to feel that there is a place for most of the modern translations. Any thoughts?

    had one....

    GOOD study bible in my opinion, especially in the outlines in margins and extra helps..

    Notes seemed like watered down NIV study bible, also tends to try to find a mediating position between different viewpoints...

    not really a devotional Bible, best to use for daily study!

    Though not exactly a "study" Bible in the strictest sense of the word, I thoroughly enjoy my Life Application Bible in the NLT (se).

    My wife has the NLT Study Bible and likes it. I use it as well when looking for multiple viewpoints. I agree that it attempts to be neutral.
