    Yes and for that reason the case may be thrown out. Could that be what Obama and Holder want?

    I do for the simple reason it prejudices the case against these terrorists.

    There are no legal grounds for that. Prosecutors and others in public opinion say people are guilty all the time.
    Facts say otherwise. To date, there have been about 300 terrorists tried and convicted in Federal Court in New York. This would be no different than those. This idea that we should fear them being tried in federal court for fear of them being found not guilty is ludicrus.

    All this should be done under the authority of a military tribunal. If guilty they should be sentenced to death. There is no reason to allow these terrorists to be tried on U.S. soil with the rights of U.S. citizens. Being that these "enemy combatants" were not in uniform of a declared enemy, perhaps they should be treated as a spy.

    This isn't new. Several hundred such terrorists were tried and convicted in New York Federal Court during the GW Bush administration. This is no different.

    I am not sure what a moderate is. Progressive is a misnomer. These people are really reactionary; they want a communist/socialist type government. And yes I believe many do hate this country!

    Weird. I'm a political moderate and I love my country. Do you think I'm a liberal?

    Anyway, I've got to go offline now. I have something to do at my church before the service tonight. So, from one Southern Baptist to another: God bless you, Reverend! I still love you as a brother in Christ despite our political disagreements.

    Yes, but I would not read into that an attack. It is just a world view. And it is easy to say you love it but when one wants to fundamentally change the country then it lack evidence.

    Holder looked as incompetent before the Senate committee today as Obama does at all times. Even Senator Graham gave him a fit!
