Not liking certain foods may be racist

    Just read this on a board where there are lots of folks from all over the world. Thought some might be interested to know it isn't only America that is going nuts :laugh:

    "A group, which as far as I can tell is sponsored or paid by the British government, has released a guidebook called "Young Children and Racial Justice", which supposedly offers advice to adults on recognising racist behaviour in children... The following is an example of what concerned grown-ups should be on the lookout for; The bureau says to be aware of children who "react negatively to a culinary tradition other than their own by saying 'yuck'.""

    Don't laugh too soon! There actually was someone on this board a while back who suggested a better name for "deviled" eggs. And he was serious! Wonder if he used Hellman's mayonaise on those eggs!

    It was more than a suggestion. He implied that anyone who used the expression "deviled" eggs (or "deviled ham") was giving into Satan and less of a Christian.
