Nothing Is More “Conservative” Than Birthright Citizenship

    Those wanting to change the 14th amendment are taking a liberal stance on this, not a conservative one.

    Depends on your definition of "conservative". Abortion and SSM are now the law of the land, so being against those is a conservative position - the liberal position in this case is the status quo.

    So birthright citizenship should be continued because it has been the way to do it for years? You could make the same arguments about abortion and SSM in 2015 and about slavery in 1849.

    The truth is that everyone is conservative in some areas and liberal in others ... using the true meanings of the words.

    Well, it is the law of the land as a result of the 14th amendment and the ruling of the SC.

    It is illogical to say I am conservative and want the 14th amendment changes and at the same time say I am a conservative and you must not touch the 2nd amendment.

    Sorry to break the bad news to you but anyone who ever said that you were conservative in anything lied to you.
