    E-Mail circulating on the web.........

Today, November 8, 2006, follows a date that will live in infamy. On November 7, 2006, Christians everywhere failed for two reasons:

    ~ Millions failed to vote.

~ Millions didn't understand what they were voting for.

It is a national disgrace. Their failures, combined with the votes from the amoralists and uninformed in our nation, made the following results indelibly clear:

    1. The hoped-for moral majority on the Supreme Court is gone forever. "The Supremes" will maintain their amoral, 5-4 superiority, and with the appointment of the next Justice, 6-3. They, and the lower courts, will continue to make law from the bench, rather than interpreting issues over against the Constitution.

    2. They will continue to resort to decisions made in foreign countries, citing them in their decisions. They will hold that the Constitution is an "evolving" document, the interpretation of which changes as society changes. Soon, it will fade into disuse, our nation presided over by a permanent oligarchy.

    3. The decisions of the federal courts will override all state laws. States will be forced to adopt federal laws that are the same in all 50 states, our territories, and possessions. "State laws" will not be permitted to vary from federal statutes.

    4. The Supreme Court and the lower courts will sustain Roe v. Wade. The wholesale slaughter of unborn babies will continue unabated, including partial birth, right up to the last moments before the child normally emerges.

    5. Stem cell research with aborted baby tissues will become a major industry. Stem cells of the slaughtered will be used to treat diseases in the living.

    6. Euthanasia will become a fact, even without consent of the elderly and/or their families.

    7. Homosexual marriages will be pronounced "normal" by The Supremes and the lower courts. Just as they found a "right to privacy" in Roe v. Wade, they will find one in homosexuality. Homosexuality will be declared a "civil right."

    8. The push for amoral sexual relations of every description will begin, with NMBA and the ACLU leading the assault.

    9. Cradle-to-grave education and health care will become a fact, as funds from working families are redistributed among those who do not work, including white folks, blacks, Hispanics, and others. Those who have not contributed to the tax base will draw huge sums of money from it.

    10. The income tax on working families will increase, along with an increase in taxes for retirees who struggle with Social Security income, all in the interest of "wealth redistribution." Those in power will proclaim a socialized economy, using dollars that they don't have to fund programs that they, not the taxpayer, decide are necessary. There will be a huge redistribution of the money available from those who have, to those who have not.

    11. National identity cards will become a fact of life. One will be required to present the identity card to any law enforcement officer, even in the absence of reasonable suspicion or probable cause.

    12. The takeover of our once solidly-based Nation of Christians is underway. The election adds credence to this obvious distortion. "Religion" will replace the local church. Even now, in Europe, church buildings are being removed to make room for mosques. It will happen here, with "The Supremes" recent ruling on imminent domain. Personal and private property seizures will become routine, as the federal courts overrule all state laws in the matter.

    13. "Free Speech," already removed by the "tolerance" and "politically correct" movements, will become more closely regulated.

    14. At the same time, the most vulgar TV programs imaginable will become commonplace.

    15. The Middle East will fall to utter Islamic totalitarianism. Iran, Syria, and Iraq will sign a non-aggression pact. Egypt and Lebanon will join, or be overthrown by Islamists of the al Qaeda stripe. Little Jordan, trembling, will stall, but eventually succumb. The Muslim-dominated countries, formerly part of the old Soviet Union, will follow.

    16. China, Venezuela, Cuba, and Saudi Arabia will enter into a compact for control of oil reserves (while environmentalists in the USA clamor to save 1,000 fish in the Gulf region.)

    17. Russia will emerge as the military power behind the Islamic movement toward domination of Europe, hoping to protect itself from Islamic invasion.

    18. The Far East will fall to Muslim terrorists.

    19. Mainland China will overwhelm Taiwan in an all-out military strike. Our 6th fleet will "stand by" as the horror unfolds. The Chinese will fund their invasion with money Americans spent at Wal-Mart.

    20. The Muslim world will declare war on "the West", to include Australia and Japan. They won't worry about "the islands of the sea."

The result of all of this will be the invasion of Israel. Europe will ask, "Have you come to take a spoil?" The invaders will tell Europe to mind their own business. Europe will send troops in a belated effort to stop the Russian-backed onslaught. The United States will wait for Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi ... and that awesome political analyst, James Carville ... to make a decision, while cells of Islamists strike out the length and breadth of the land.

Hatred and sour grapes elevated to an art form. Remarkable.

Yes, because if you are a Christian and you did not vote Republican you obviously did not understand the issues. I missed the verse in the Bible that equates Christianity with being a Republican.

This statement alone is ridiculous. The rest of the email is absolutely absurd.

In line with what what said on another thread.

    "The sky is falling"

You would think American had elected demons in stead of democrats this week. Someone needs to have the courage to tell Chicken Little and all her friends that it was only an acorn.

BTW - I found this one interesting.

    Might we restate this with

On the other hand, look at each numbered item and think about its opposite. It would be nice to have a "moral majority" on the supreme court, I would think. Ridding the USA of the abortion nightmare would be a good place to start. But I agree with the email itself. It isn't going to happen now. I wonder how many mothers would kill their baby one minute AFTER birth. Frightening thought? Then why isn't it frightening one minute before birth? Or 1 day. Or 5 days. Or 1 month. Or 3 months. And wouldn't it be Christian to stand against homosexual marriage, even homosexual adoptions? I don't think the guy or gal who wrote that was angry or bitter or whatever. I think his or her heart was aching. My two cents. :flower:

The Republican Party left the religious right out in the cold, and those critical Congressmen in charge proved to be spineless appeasers afraid to take on Democrats with their own conservative ideals (those the party platform espouses). Those ideals when enunciated clearly, win elections nearly every time they are utilized.

The irony, of course, is that this president and congress have advanced socialism beyond anything Clinton would have done, and greatly increased the power of government over individuals.

People voted for the democrats because they wanted less socialism, and more freedom.

Ironic. And sensible. The republicans didn't replace the democrats. They became the democrats.

I was a little surprised by Tuesday's vote as I expected the Communists to pick up some seats, but certainly not as much as they did. What was more shocking and disgraceful was the next day when President Bush compromised every principal and fired Rumsfeld, agreed to raise minimum wage, acknowledged his delight that the Republicans who stood in the way of amnesty for illegal immigrants are now out of power and that he would be more likely to legalize criminal behavior with the Communists, said the communists who took delight in every bad thing that has happened in the war wanted us to win the war when he knows they don't, and sold out his principals and his country for the sake of saving his legacy. His legacy will be the same as his dad, in my eyes, that of a weak failure of a president. The only thing worse than that was the gloating from Al Queada that their guys won the election.

    Preach it, Joseph!

IMHO the handwriting on the wall was when he agreed with the Saudis to recognize "Palestine" as a legitimate state.

And while that is true, there are also states that have advanced the liberal cause to the nth degree by electing people like Shumer and Hillary with around 70% of the vote. Its funny though, all those types of states seem bunched together except for California.

Bush has already seriously limited free speech in the name of protecting us fro terrorists. I'll be suprised if he doesn't implement a national identity card in the next year or two. You've got it mixed up. The current administration has been trying to take away our freedom. The Democrats will work to bring it back.

Except they'll call it civil liberties.

I wonder about all this phone tapping and other stuff Bush is doing in the name of Homeland Security.
