This whole argument is not about GWB, but about end times and where this nation is heading. All this finger pointing and nit picking about the constitution, which cannot be preserved wholly in these days, is missing the point enough to position well meaning but naive believers on the dark side of the overall picture. There is apparently no way to convey my mind on this matter in a manner acceptable or even understandably. So, I give up. I wish someone with understanding, who is not so distrusted as I, could get the point across. Or maybe I'm wrong. Let Him judge.

IMO, Anyone who voted for "EITHER PARTY", isn't too "bright".

"NO ONE" get on the ballot of either party unless they're "CONTROLLED" by the "powers that be", and it certainly "ISN'T" the "people".

George W. Bush is responsible for his folly, not Condoleeza Rice.

And it is time for him to called on the carpet for it when the Congress reconvenes in 2006.

President Bush apparently trampled on the U.S. constitution and federal law. We should want to see him held accountable for that regardless of what our eschatological views are.

Hasn't anyone ever told you she is one of his most trusted advisors and she is in full agreement with him?

Yeah and I know. No one is perfect. Condi has also stated she does not intend to run for president in 2008. So my support for her for president at the moment is in the category of "Fantasy Politics". [IMG]

Why not? Could it have been that there was no basis for investigation? After all, he investigated Clinton's relationship with Monica Lewinski, which was trivial in terms of national security (ditto Whitewater, ditto Travelgate). Allegations of actual treason are a very big deal.

BTW, KenH apologized to you - that makes him the better man.

Pr 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Folks need to look at "world events" in "Light" of what the scripture has to say, but scripture and it's doctrines are seldom considered when viewing the world.

I don't think Starr could invesigat anything unless it was connected with his original mandate.

</font>[/QUOTE]Janet Reno refused to appoint a special prosecutor, as requested by the head of the FBI, to investigate the purchase of political influence and technological secrets in exchange for campaign contributions. She covered for Clinton all the way.

Except for abortion (she would allow it for even more cases than Bush would) and affirmative action (she endorses it).

    Otherwise, the same.

    1. I am not aligned with any political party.

    2. I don't hate George W. Bush.

    3. I support the effort to remove the Taliban and Saddam Hussein, but I don't want to see us staying militarily in each country for years and years.

    4. I post items where I agree with something President Bush has done such as in the News Forum the other day when he signed the bill into law concerning umbilical cord blood.

    Your fantasy is revealing.

Rice is in full agreement with Bush policies yet you support her for President. That suggests a personal dislike for Bush.
