    From the link

Wow! 73 admissions because Obama says nothing. I think that is the exact number of cases of malfeasance Barny had against Andy in the sheriff's race in Mayberry. Andy didn't answer, so they must have all been true.

How far are we going to stretch this silly, unfounded, and capricious rumour?

Berg wants one thing - his idolised heroine Hillary to stand for office instead of Obama and he is getting desperate in his attempt. I am a little surprised that Hillary has so much support here :).

There is absolutely NO WAY that if i were Obama I would answer these ridiculous charges unless ordered by a federal court, and even then I would fight it. Who does this pipsqueak Hillary-lover think he is to trump up unjustifiable charges and demand that Obama answer? To answer would be to stoop to Bergs scum encrusted level of politics. He has some kind of fascination with Hillary that is worrying to me.

Its a good thing I am not the judge where he is filing these spurious lawsuits - I would jail him for contempt of my court.

The lawsuit was filed in a United States District Court. What's the difference between that and a Federal Court? If it says United States, doesn't that make it a Federal Court, not a state court?

No court has ordered Obama to produce anything.

Bergillary thinks by filing he alone can get his fantasy idol back on the ticket.

Not answering is an admission of nothing. Good grief, there is no merit to this case at all. You need to go on to important matters. Anyway, it does not matter if Obama was born in Kenya or not ... his mother was a natural born citizen of the US, so no matter where Obama was born ... and that was in Hawaii ... he would still be legally a natural born citizen.

I guess that you have missed the details of the case.

Berg is contending that Obama either is not a natural born citizen - due to particular circumstances of his birth.

Or that Obama lost his U.S. citizenship when he became an Indonesion citizen.

Does it not matter to you at all whether or not Obama meets the qualifications to be President according to the Constitution?

It is interesting that you know all that you do as fact when there are arguements to be made on both sides.

The slew of lawyers that Obama is paying to keep this tied up in court is not excatly silence.

He could make the whole thing go away in an instant by simply producing the documents that show that he does meet the Constitutional requirements to be President.

    And yet he doesn't.

Obama was adopted as a child by his Indonesian step-father while they were living in Indonesia. Under then current Indonesian law Obama became a citizen of Indonesia.

Also under then current Indonesian law Obama lost his U.S. status (what ever it was) because Indonesia did not allow dual citizenship.

Obama would have had to reclaim his U.S. status upon gaining the age of majority. Something which he did not do.

During a speech Obama talked about having traveled to Pakistan in the early 1980s http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/10/us/politics/10obama.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

U.S. citizens were not allowed to travel to Pakistan at that time. Obama could not have entered into Pakistan with a U.S. passport. He entered with an Indonesian passport.

A passport issued by Indonesia because they recognized Obama as an Indonesian citizen. By accepting the passport apparently so did Obama.

With all these questions surrounding his U.S. status Obama needs to show that he meets the qualifications to be President under the Consititution.

Indoneasian law does not apply here. What is important is what did and does US law say.

I have a friend who married a woman from France. They had a daughter born in Germany. Because her father was a US citizen the daughter is legally a natural born citizen. France also considers her a French citizen because her mother was/is French. In your mind, because France considers her French and not a US citizen make her, in your mind, not a US citizen. If he had a son the French would cosider him French and subject to the French military draft if he were draft age and visited France.
Not if the US always considered him as a US citizen. Give me a link showing where the US government says he lost his citizenship.
This means nothing either. I had a friend, unfortunately deceased, who all her life had both a US passport and a Brazilian passport. She said when entering a country she used the one that was most advantageous to her. Yes, it was totally legal.

I have answered each point, and there is no question about his being a US citizen ... as you can see.

Berg may not have a legal leg to stand on, but he does not care. His only intention is to hurt Obama anyway he can. If he can force Obama to discuss his Kenyan or Indonesian citizenship or his trip to Pakistan in 1981 that will hurt Obama.

Regardless of where he was born or what he did Obama never renounced his US citizenship. He is eligible to run for president. But if he has to talk about it it will hurt him.

Obama is doing the right thing ignoring Berg.

Personally I think the idea that Obama held an Indonesian passport and traveled on it to Pakistan is a great reason to worry about him being president and I wish we would hear about it in the MSM. But that ain't gonna happen.

Well... what does U.S. law say? What happens to U.S. status when one accepts citizenship in another country that does not allow dual citizenship? Is not acceptance of such citizenship a renounciation of U.S. citizenship under such circumstances?

Does France permit dual citizenship? That is the relevant issue in the case we are discussing.

It sounds like she had dual citizenship. Is it permitted to have a passport from more than one country without dual citizenship?

Does holding more than one passport imply dual citizenship?

If Obama held an Indonesian passport - and Indonesia permitted dual citizenship - which it did not at the time - you may be opening a whole different can of worms.

Does the U.S. Constitution allow for a President with dual citizenship?

Perhaps you would be willing to share your expertise in these areas as well.:saint:

What slew of lawyers? So far the Obama camp has only filed for a dismissal. Doesn't appear they are giving this case much thought.

You and I both know what this would do. It would show a weakness in Obama and would mean every guy who can imagine a lawsuit would be filing to see him tied up in litigation. This is no different that McCain insisting he should apologize for Lewis. That was all to make Obama look weak and attempt to show he will flinch when other countries leaders threaten him. He is passing the test by the way.
