Is it time to begin talking about impeaching this president for ALL his lies, lack of ability to do the job, and just for being the worst possible guy to sit in DC in years?

Impeachment is not a conviction. Articles of impeachment are essentially the same thing as an indictment. The House passes those articles and sends them off to the Senate for trial.

Anyone want to take odds on the Senate convicting, in its current makeup?

The House ought to do it anyway.

Not just Obama. The whole democrat party who passed this horrible law should all be up on charges.

You can send all the non-Tea Party Republicans packing, too, as far as I'm concerned.

Amen to that. As far as impeachment, the requirements are treason, bribery, and other high crimes and misdemeanors. The House brings the charges with a majority vote, and the Senate convicts with a two thirds vote. Aside from all the technicalities, what chances are there to convict with 54 Democrat Senators. Even if Republicans gain a majority in 2014, it is still a two thirds vote.

In this case, impeachment and conviction would require an event that has not happened yet. One can talk about Benghazi all they want, the numbers are not there.

Had Nixon not resigned, I believe he would have been convicted. Clinton's case went to the Senate, and they failed to get the two thirds vote.
