Obama and Reagan

No, there's plenty of people on this forum that aren't as conservative as I am and I don't agree with them, but they aren't trolls. But you've been a member here for a very short time, didn't bother to introduce yourself, and just starting firing off insults. You've also managed to basically state your opinion on when life begins by saying that you wouldn't be allowed to discuss it because of the rules here.

Normally those signs point to a troll. If you aren't one, then I apologize. Time will tell.

BTW, I am opposed to abortion and believe it is a sin. I would not condone anyone who has an abortion other than to save the life of the mother, and I'm not convinced that this happens very often. I also would imagine that most women giving birth would choose their baby's life over their own.

I can't help what you or other feel is untenable. I did not vote for Obama, but I do hope his economic policies succeed. I also tend to believe he will end up being a better president than many believe.

 

Obama and Reagan - there is no comparison. It does an injustice to Ronald Reagan to mention his name in the same breath as the Obama man.

I did vote for Obama but obviously not because of his stance on abortion. I voted for him despite his stance. In my view, he has accomplished more in his first 100 days than some presidents accomplish in their entire administration. I don't agree with the details of his proposals so far but I can reason the logic and believe since we are all in this sinking ship, we should all grab an oar and start rowing in unison. Encouraging a mutiny on a sinking ship is self destruction at its best.

 

I wasn't saying anything negative about people who voted for Obama. My wife supported him, and frankly, I almost did the same. I don't think someone who votes for a person is necessarily agreeing with all of his positions. I must also say that I think he is much better than his predecessor.

 

What has Obama accomplished in your estimation?

Scripture says the rain falls on the just and the unjust. This time the unjust have won, and the just will have to have faith the Lord will bring us through this judgment.

 

I guess you are the only one who knows what this "higher authority" desires in every aspect of life. Maybe some day I will be as spiritually-minded as you are. Until then, I will just do the best I can. :wavey:

 

Are you sure you really survived the Reagan years. Your ability to distinguish between good and evil seem to have been distorted.

 

All unions should be broken. They're the main reason America is no longer competitive in the global market.
