Can anyone list any of Obama's accomplishments?

Obama himself can only point to running his campaign for President as his qualification to be President.

 

He's black and has ridden the affirmative action horse throughout his education and career.

That's about it.

As a member of the Veterans' Affairs Committee, Senator Obama has fought to help Illinois veterans get the disability pay they were promised, while working to prepare the VA for the return of the thousands of veterans who will need care after Iraq and Afghanistan. Recognizing the terrorist threat posed by weapons of mass destruction, he traveled to Russia with Republican Dick Lugar to begin a new generation of non-proliferation efforts designed to find and secure deadly weapons around the world. And knowing the threat we face to our economy and our security from America's addiction to oil, he's working to bring auto companies, unions, farmers, businesses and politicians of both parties together to promote the greater use of alternative fuels and higher fuel standards in our cars.

Did he author any of that?

Can you show where he actually is responsible for any of that other than perhaps voting?

Although actually voting rather than simply saying "present" may have been an accomplishment in his eyes.

 

He has no accomplishments of any significance.

It's a lame and very short career Bio.

 

His own web site doesn't count.

I can tell you about one political accomplishment:

He voted against the Born Alive act. That's pretty significant. :tear: Maybe his web site isn't too proud of that one, leaving infants to die on dirty hospital laundry.

 

I posted a very extensive list of Senator Obama's accomplishments a few weeks ago in this forum. I did not realize the same questions would be regurgitated by the anti-Obama forces every few weeks. If I had I would have kept the link in my favorites.

Not that it would matter. The anti-Obama forces will poo-poo any such list regardless of how extensive or how well documented it is.

 

Sorry, but I've done enough hiring and firing over the years to be able to recognize a padded resume.
