What do Obama supporters on the board feel about Obama's many campaign finance irregularities in terms of how they reflect on his ethics?

"...investigation of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign finance reports has turned up more than 2,000 cases in which individuals have made donations far above the legal limit of $2,300 per election. "

"An auditor for the Federal Election Commission is attempting to have his bosses seek a formal investigation into the collection by the Obama for President campaign of more than $200 million in potentially illegal political donations, including millions of dollars of illegal, foreign donations, and has sought a request for assistance from the Department of Justice or Federal Bureau of Investigation."

I feel he has so many contributers that it takes time to audit all the donors but they return the money when they find contributions in violation. I think that's what all campaigns do especially when they take donations via a website and receive $150 Million in one month.

Actually, news investigators are finding that they are not returning the contributions as they claim that they are. News reporters say that they are contacting contributors who gave way over the legal limit who supposedly already got the money back and they say that they haven't gotten anything back.

When a single contribution comes in from an individual that is four, five or even ten times the legal limit how much does it take to see that it is in violation?

Ethics aside for the moment... Obama's claim to executive experience was that he is running his campaign. If he becomes President, are we going to accept a bunch of illegal financial dealings from his office because it's a big country or there's a lot of money swrilling through it? Will a similar excuse for such incompetence be acceptable then?
