"The Obama campaign spent nearly $4,700 on telemarketing services from a Canadian telemarketing company called Pacific East between March and June..."

"Obama paid a call center in Manila, Philippines $78,314.10 for telemarketing services between the start of the campaign and March."

"Obama’s outsourcing was not limited to telemarketing. The Daily Caller reports that Obama also booked flights through corporate travel company Egencia’s Bellevue, Washington office. Egencia maintains a large presence in southeast Asia, including call centers in India and China."

"Foreign-controlled companies collected $1.7 billion of the green energy grants issued by the stimulus, compared to $500 million for domestic operations."

Hmmm...Obama's outsourcing might help explain the unions tepid response to Obama this go around:

Democratic National Convention Getting Little Help from Unions

Angered by the choice of a union-hostile city for the Democratic National Convention, Big Labor is still sitting on the sidelines as planning for the big show kicks into high gear.

Several unions, including the AFL-CIO, say they haven’t decided how involved they’ll be in Charlotte. Others expect to scale back. And at least two unions, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and the Building and Construction Trades Department, AFL-CIO are opting against participating entirely.

It’s not just Charlotte: Unions are also beleaguered by a tough economy and frustrated by the lack of union victories in Congress.
