The person who made this quote about your post uses demeaning terms as a hobby. He is a baiter, and IMO, a troll. I would not worry too much what he thought about your opinion. I made a post about what I thought about him calling you a liberal. The posts are especially obnoxious when there is a name caller that does not have a clue about the subject at hand as in this case.

National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor said President Obama's schedule in New York will not permit a meeting with the Israeli leader.

This followed a report by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz that quoted an unidentified Israeli official about an exchange between Netanyahu and the White House. According to the report, Netanyahu said that while he would be in the United States for a little more than two days, he was interested in a meeting, and was willing to come to Washington.

The White House, according to the official, responded that Mr. Obama's schedule will not allow for a meeting.

Vietor said the two leaders are "simply not in the city at the same time." But he added that Netanyahu will meet with other senior U.S. officials, including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Prime Minister Netanyahu is scheduled to address the United Nations on September 28, and is expected to focus on what he sees as Iran's steady movement toward building a nuclear weapon.

President Obama addresses the General Assembly September 25.

Obama should have changed his schedule.

I still don't get the linkage between Obama appearing on Letterman and Obama not meeting Netanyahu. The OP made it sound as if Obama had a meeting set with Netanyahu but then Letterman called and Obama dropped the meeting with the Israeli prime minister in favor of the Late Show.

President Barack Obama will appear as a guest on “The Late Show with David Letterman” during a trip to New York on next Tuesday, Sept. 18.

President Obama addresses the General Assembly September 25.

Prime Minister Netanyahu is scheduled to address the United Nations on September 28.

So far as I can tell there is nothing on his schedule that would prevent him from meeting with Netanyahu, for sure it is NOT his appearance on Letterman.

    Thread Title:

"Obama's Got Time for Letterman but not Netanyahu"

What's the linkage? Might as well have said, "Obama has time for Ohio campaign appearance but not Netanyahu" or ""Obama has time for fundraiser but not Netanyahu" or whatever else Obama is doing while Netanyahu is in the U.S. So far as I know Netanyahu is not going to be in the U.S. on the 18th, when Obama is on Letterman.

OK but that does not lead to your characterization of the op. And by the way the link is the fact that he can schedule time for and idiot like Letterman who uses vile language to characterize conservative women, but he cannot schedule time for one of our worlds leaders who is facing an imminent nuclear threat. It goes to show his irresponsibility and genuine disdain for Israel.

Netanyahu is not going to be in the U.S. when Obama is scheduled to be on Letterman. There is no linkage. None.

Well there is certainly not the linkage you want but there is a link as I fully explained and if you do not like the op ignore this thread.

You'd have to find out what Obama is doing on September 28th, the day that Netanyahu is in New York to find out what is more important to him than meeting up.

As I mentioned, it could be a campaign rally, or a fundraiser, but it's NOT Letterman. (BTW, I can't stand Letterman)

No there is not. The two are not linked. Really, you explained nothing. There is nothing wrong with criticizing Obama for legitimate issues, but this is nonsense.

It doesn't matter what he is doing. It is irrelevant. That is not the point.
