Obama introduces himself to world and our military

I think he is walking a fine line and I think he is walking it wisely by letting this be a bi-partisan trip.

I also think since the campaign for the Democratic Party went on so long the Barack Obama introduction to the American people did not have the advantage of the McCain group.

Obama had to introduce himself to the eyes of the American people as that C.O.C. in a humble way because we all agree that McCain has the credentials with his family background that is without question for Obama to do nothing would have not narrowed that gap but this is the key thing I think he pulled or is pulling this off just right.

Like I said it was a high wire and I am personally impressed that he is walking it.

Petraeus ,Reid, Hagel, Iragi Leaders and the troops seem to be sincerely engaged with this potential President and I believe the pictures show that plus the YouTube videos.

Today he did give McCain credit for his caring for Iraq and that he is sticking to his guns to transition out of Iraq apparently now with support of the Iraqi leadership and send some help to Afghanistan where things are getting hotter.

So are you saying that he is a politician?

I don't think anyone doubts he is a brilliant politician and is always there for the photo op. So he takes a good picture. Does that qualify him for president?

    I think not.

    He has no choice.

He has to at least give the illusion that he has a clue about the Middle East.

You have bought the illusion. I am sure that others such as yourself will be just as impressed by appearances rather than substance.

    Pity.

Correct - he does what any politician has to do - he plays the game and jumps through the hoops.

I bet I could look presidential if I had people throwing thousands of dollars at me on my web site. I do take PayPal. :)
