Wow, the press and anybody can get in and roam around (CNN found the Ambassador's Journal a few days after the attack), but still, the FBI is in Tripoli and has not secured the scene in Benghazi, hundreds of miles away. The Obama machine incompetence continues. Meanwhile, intelligence notes are being compromised and the crime scene/terror scene has been totally compromised and Obama admnistration bumbles along like nothing has happened.....

    Rest here:

    LE,
I have always wondered how the FBI operates in foreign countries where they have no jurisdiction. I assume the host country gives them permission to enter and investigate. After that is obtained, and they get evidence or a suspect, one would assume that the host country would have to give permission for the removal of evidence or the arrest.

In this case, one wonders what Libya would gain by allowing the FBI to enter.

Do you know if there is some treaty that allows foreign authorites to come in an investigate?
