    Intersting line of thinking.

The problem is that Obama makes a campaign issue of "equal pay for equal work" for women.

He concludes that women make less than men for the same work by comparing the average salaries of women with the average salaries of men as stated in the last U.S. census...

...without distinction as to type of work, full time or partime, qualifications, experience, etc.

So I can assume that you agree that differences in average salaries doesn't prove an inequality in pay between men and women and that there is no basis for Obama's claim in this area?

The parameters continually change as the points are refuted!!!!!!:BangHead:

This process is similar to that of satan when challenging God as to the righteousness of Job. When satan's first challenge proved fruitless, rather than accept that he had lost the challenge, he posed a second challenge.

Just wonder how long he would have kept adding conditions if God had not called it to a halt by giving satan the maximum leeway less total annihilation of Job?????

You missed the point, my point is numbers are always multiple sided and what you see depends on where you stand.

If equal pay is to be equal, you have to consider many variables without s@x being one. Salary should be based on experience, education etc... so that's why these things makes more of a difference than the fact that they are women. We shouldn't force a less experienced womans pay to be higher for fear of these types of attacks.

    Yes, I agree.

And I believe that already happens in the market system as it currently exists.

Employment and the terms of employment should be the free agreement between the employer and the employee based on supply and demand for the services that the employee has to offer.
