There's a difference, Brother, between intolerance for "divergent views" and in criticizing an unpatriotic attitude that is unwilling to support the cause of liberty at any cost. You seem to fail to understand how dire the situation is here at home. It has been repeatedly pointed out to you that the president's agenda is diametrically opposed to American interests, his theory of government is contrary to the laws of the land, and that his corruption and illegal acts should be subject to prosecution.

Yet those we have elected to public office refuse to take action against him, further eroding the checks and balances of power and setting up the very real potential for dictatorship, totalitarianism, and the establishment of a proven failed form of government, socialism.

We have quoted to you the principles upon which our founders broke faith with their government both in the Colonies and in England, principles which still stand today and which should be enacted now just as they were then, when it becomes necessary. It is not yet necessary, as I stated in that long post which you essentially ignored, choosing instead to pick out the most distasteful portion of it to expand upon -- the possible need for armed action.

You have stated an unwillingness to engage in such, even though repeatedly throughout our history we have engaged in just such action to defend our liberty and freedom.

I have been harsh with you, and I suppose too harsh. But the circumstances today in the United States are of severe nature, and the thoughts of every American who loves his country and wants to see it survive rather than to become a 21st Century Soviet Union need to consider what alternatives are available.

We still have the ballot box. With a bit over four months to go before the elections, we have hope. But we must also be ready. I am not confident the dumbed-down American public is capable of making a rational decision vs. choosing for their own comfort, but I am not nearly as concerned for an outcome based on selfishness as I am not at all confident that the Democratic machine operating in Washington on the same principles as the one in Chicago will not also steal this election, thus solidifying our fate and requiring the aforementioned rebellion.

I will not find that exciting, enlightening, nor will I be enthusiastic about it. It is a horrible thing to consider circumstances requiring one to rise up against his government. But if need be, I will. You must be brought to a point of realization of how close we are to that necessity.

These posts have been a wake up call to you. I don't think you understand the seriousness of the situation, as your news is being filtered through a media that does not understand nor grasp the American spirit. Under the man in the presidency, the United States is on its death bed, and only the resuscitation applied by patriots working for the cause of its survival will see to it that it does.

    Great point TND ....

Had the POTUS and Hillary not moved to cover up the truth about Benghazi .... Mitt would be POTUS today, and we'd maybe, just maybe be on the road to recovery! After all, Mitt did save the Salt Lake Olympics. He is more honest and more in tune with the failing economy that what was given a second term to finsih the gutting of America!

As I said before, you're dealing with a lot of ANGRY individuals who are upset that they lost an election. It has brought out a really ugly side in some folks.

And the Democrats said the same sorts of things in 2000 after President Bush beat Albert Gore. Get over it already.

He seems to get it more than most on here about this.

Perfect example of how these funky political attitudes are overtaking the love that should be displayed by God's people.

It is absolutely sickening that some Christians would think that any level of anything done for "freedom, liberty and democracy" would outweigh God's command to love Him and our neighbors as ourselves.

This attitude that you and others on this board and in the church continue to display for anyone who has differing views than your own is abysmal and so far away from Christ that it's not even funny.

Praise God for all the men and women He used to create and maintain this great country. But make no mistake about it, some folks need to be reminded that those things exist here because HE allows them to. HE made it possible.

Ain't nobody got to kiss your behind just because you're mad about an election or two. And it certainly does not give you the right to treat a fellow Brother in Christ as though he has less right to be here than you do.

This type of wickedness you and many in the church are spreading just because someone has different political views from you or because they see no reason for another country dividing war has done far more damage to the country than politicians or political parties could ever do.[IMG]

Wickedness increases as the love of the church grows cold.

    I'll bet ....

.... that's what some in the church thought and said when the idea of breaking away from England was tossed about?

Have you lost all ability ....

.... to read the papers, watch the news and see what is happening all around you? This has nothing to do with sore losers, or sour grapes. It has to do with continue failures of those in all positions of government to recognize the right of the majority to have a say about government.

This nothing to do with Obama getting elected, and everything to do with how he has thumbed hi nose at the constitution he swore to uphold and protect!

You will believe what you want, because that is a pattern, you have demonstrated a propensity for doing. Even so, that does not make what is going on any less a fact! :BangHead::BangHead:

He's in the majority politically speaking.

If he hadn't thumbed his nose at the Constitution, the same folks would find something about him and his administartion to complain about. Get over it already just as folks do every election cycle.

Yep. I'll continue to believe the fact that the funky attitudes coming from the lot of you centered around politics have nothing to do with Christ and a witness for Him , but everything everything to do with your love for this world and the things therein as well as your lack of Christian love for anyone who does not hold your views.

    Give your head a rest.

Zaac if you really believed what you keep saying then you would be spending all your time out there spreading the gospel instead of spending all your time here spreading the democratic party's talking points.

I have to wonder how many souls will burn in hell fire for eternity because you choose to spend all your time here claiming other Christians are bad bad bad for not doing what you yourself do not do.

Now, I've been "punished" for calling another poster a hypocrite so I won't call you one but believe you me I'm having to fight back the urge with all my strength.
