Its okay to not like Obama. But its not okay to criticize him for things that every other politician since the onset of the radio is guilty of; namely, making rousing speeches. How else is a politician to garner support?

And the Hitler reference was dispicable, even with the clarification.

Godwin has stated that he introduced Godwin's law in 1990 as an experiment in memetics.

Linking by implication the purported fallacy of reductio ad Hitlerum to online discussion length had been done prior to 1990 by a poster named Richard Sexton in 1989: "You can tell when a USENET discussion is getting old when one of the participents drags out Hitler and the Nazis." Godwin's Law does not, however, claim to articulate a fallacy; it is instead framed as a memetic tool to reduce the incidence of inappropriate hyperbolic comparisons.

Go ahead and have your laugh.
Again my intent was not to equate Obama to Hitler but the reaction of the swooning crowds to his oratory.

If my post suggested otherwise then I apologize. So here have a:flower: and get over yourselves.

I have seen people have that same "can do no wrong" look when Bill Clinton entered the room, too. I've also seen it when some people talk about Reagan.
    And so it goes....

    love,

The Dems drive a different fear machine. Only WE can save you from Herr Bush who will listen in on your phone calls, install himself as dictator, and probably hates kittens. Fear him!

The fact is, Bush IS listening to your phone calls, and is trying to get Congress to protect the telcos for participating in the crime. I haven't heard a Democrat say he hates kittens. And Bush himself said it'd be easier if it were a dictatorship...as long as he is the dictator.

Not likely. The intent is to eavesdrop on calls to the US from known jihadis overseas. In fact, I hope they are doing that.

And I haven't heard Republicans say they'd protect us from Teddy Kennedy.

They have gone way beyond that.

If you go somewhere with him, just don't let him drive and you'll be fine.

I sense the natural fear of the muslim here. You have every right to fear Islam.

It's out to get us all.

Do you know what they want now in England.

In Oxford, the home so much history and education.

The muslim people want to loudspeaker the call to prayer to a false god across the land of England.

I dont think they will succeed but it is possible. Its why I live in France.

Does that happen in the USA yet?
