I would think the FBI would already be investigating the events at Fort Hood. President Obama is trying to hold Congress off for now and I think that is a good thing. The last thing Fort Hood, or the nation, needs right now is a bunch of lying, two-faced politicians using the tragedy at Fort Hood to grandstand for their pet political ideologies.
So, in that sense I agree with the following statement:
"resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater." He said those who died on the nation's largest Army post deserve justice, not political stagecraft."
I agree with President Obama on this one. Let the investigators do their work before Congress, whose job is to make laws, gets involved.
I agree with Obama on this one. Congress is always holding investigations and seeminly then never doing anything from their own findings and recommendations. It seems to me they do it for political show and votes more than to really do anything. I hope I am wrong on this. There are more important things they should be doing.
I don't want a bunch of liberals doing an investigation in the first place. The perpetrator is already being hailed as a victim, we don't need more of the same.
