In what way was Obama playing golf at the time of the operation "strategic thinking"?

Who outside of a very select circle knows what the President is doing at any given time?

Are you saying that Bin Laden was aware that Obama was on the golf course and therefore believed that he was safe until Obama hit the clubhouse?

Quick - where is Obama right now and what is he doing?

Thanks for keeping me entertained though.

From what I can find from news sources, Obama was scheduled to play a round of golf that Sunday. He cut it short after playing nine holes and returned to the situation room at the White House approximately 2 hours before the operation was to commence.

I see neither disinterest or brilliant strategy in this maneuver.

Obama is no leader, as you say in your post. He would do anything for political advantage. The collateral damage to him would be just one of those casualties of war. Like the Lord asked about Sodom, is there one righteous man left? Is there such a thing left as a leader who stands up for what is right? There is not one on the radar right now.

So he gets credit for being a little less failure than Carter?

In this narrow venue of military exercises, yes he has that going for him.
