Okay, lets try an intelligent discussion that does not degenerate into attacks on each other, or character assassination on the men involved.

Senator Obama has begun campaigning against Senator McCain and ignoring Senator Clinton.

Is this wise political strategy or is it a dangerous and possibly fatal presumption?

At this point Hillary is wasting money and time. Obama is leading in the pledged delegates and popular vote, and if the super delegates were to override the primary results and go against the voice of the people, and put Hillary in...why then there would be a public outcry with rioting and possibly even violence, because it would be presumed that the super delegates were biased against a black man.

Obama has it locked up, and he is right to ignore the arrogance of the Clinton's and focus on McCain.

I wouldn't be so sure. No one can foresee the future. Stuff happens.

Hillary is down for the count.

If the Republican ticket is going to be McCain/Huckabee, I think Obama better be campaigning against McCain...

I wouldn't count John McCain out at all.

No, I don't think it is wise to count Hillary out. You don't sing "ding dong, the witch is dead", until you see the toes curl up.

I'm not a Obama fan, but I think that his pretending like he has already won the nomination is actually wise on his part. I think that he is trying to get the American people to believe that he has actually won and can reduce the rallying crowds that are supporting Clinton. I don't like that he is doing that but I do think that it is good for his campaign.

    That's just my $0.02

Since I wrote this post, I have read rumors that there is a tape of Michelle Obama talking with Rev Wright about white people where she calls them "whitey". If this turns out to be true then maybe it is the reason that hillary is holding on, waiting for the political "nuclear dirt bomb" to explode. This is the only way she has a chance, is if she can absolutely destroy Obama. We'll see soon.

If nothing else, this years democratic primary has been entertaining.

Yeah I think it's a smart move by his campaign.
