"Words mean nothing to liberals. They say whatever will help advance their cause at the moment, switch talking points in a heartbeat, and then act indignant if anyone uses the exact same argument they were using five minutes ago.

When Gore won the popular vote in the 2000 election by half a percentage point, but lost the Electoral College -- or, for short, "the constitutionally prescribed method for choosing presidents" -- anyone who denied the sacred importance of the popular vote was either an idiot or a dangerous partisan."

"But now Hillary has won the popular vote in a Democratic primary, while Obambi has won under the rules. In a spectacular turnabout, media commentators are heaping sarcasm on our plucky Hillary for imagining the "popular vote" has any relevance whatsoever."

As we approach the general election, there are two words Obama supporters , however ignorant and stupid they may be, are going to have to totally eliminate from their feeble minds.

    POPULAR VOTE!!!!!!!

I know this was difficult for them during the primary, but know we follow the constitution, ok?

    Hey guys:

Do you really believe it is honouring to Jesus Christ to refer to people as "dumbocrats" and "ignorant and stupid", "feeble-minded", etc.?

I think I have as good a sense of humour as the next guy, but I just don't see this as being very kingdom-like behaviour.

Not to mention the fact that such terminology contributes to a destructive "us versus them" mentality. And especially since there are almost certainly Christian brothers and sisters on both sides of the "party divide".

Yep, Obama was selected for the reason I stated in other threads.....fear of starting a race war.

    My question is this

Why are christian brothers and sisters on the side of immorality?

And yes...it is "us and them"......check your Bible. There are people that try to live for the Lord (US)....and there are people who throw out all biblical teachings on morallity and the sanctity of life (Them).

And it is very much "kingdom-like behavoir" to reproof and rebuke evil in all forms, such as abortion and gay marriage. We are instructed many times to "abhor" evil and flee from it...yet we have christians supposedly supporting it?????? I dont get it.

Good luck with that at judgement day - we will see whether Jesus agrees that calling people "dumb", "feeble-minded", "stupid" and "ignorant" is really kingdom behaviour.

You and I both know that there is loving rebuke and there is the kind of nastiness and divisive dialogue that we see on this board.

    Yes,
BHO was selected, but not to avoid a race war. Simple........because it was in the interest of the GLOBALIST'S agenda to do so.
So we have a huge choice yes? BHO or John (son of cain) McCain.
Or perhaps the republican that has never left the race? Ron Paul? The one who hasn't lied to you yet?
The one who knows what the truth is? The one who understands what the answer is?The one who wants to abolish the Fed? Do you see that its because of the fed that our money has no real value?and as a result we have a dollar that is inflated and deflated at the will of the Fed?
But many on this board will fuss and fight over the "lesser of two evils" and cry and complain come Nov,when YOU DON'T HAVE TO VOTE FOR THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS! You just think that you don't have a choice when you always have a choice! Someone once told me that you can never go wrong by doing the right thing, and I beleive that! So stop right now say a quick prayer that God will show what the right thng to do is,his way,his choice not ours, his man,not what the media is giving you to choose from.

    AGAIN, LE Hits it Out-of-the-Park...

You couldn't be more right LE. There has been subtle hints, and outright statements that race riots would ensue should Obama not get the Democratic nod. It is quite possible that these same fears will be present throughout the campaign on behalf of the Obama election machine as November looms over the horizon.

Will America burn if Obama doesn't carry the vote? Will America be turned to a wasteland of rubble should Obama fail to get the general electorate or the Electoral College?

I hope that America doesn't succumb to recial fear when they cast their votes in November. I believe that just as the black vote will go by way of Obama [which of course is not seen as racial or biased], that the white vote will go to the best person to lead this nation, white or black [which is not racial or biased].

As for me and my house, we will not be led by fear of racial wars [if Obama should lose] when we vote for someone other than Obama. And I need to make this known. I will vote against Obama, not because he's black, but because he is not the right man to lead this nation in a time of national crisis, terrorist threats, war, or whatever else may present itself and need swift, immediate action.

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

The platform and issues the Democrats support are foolish.
    There!
Does that make you feel better.
I did not single out an individual, but a party and what they represent and stand for.

Be careful not to strain at a gnat and swallow a camel, my friend.

Yeah, right after he calls David a sinner for writing the Psalms. eh ? Boy, you must be looking forward to judgement day, perhaps you'll be selected as stenographer.

You are not only arrogant about your walk with God, you are arrogant about everyone else's, as well.

The word of God divides, like a sword. I've read that somewhere.

A few weeks ago, Ann Coulter said John McCain "has no honor...."

I'm guessing McCain learned more about honor in his service, and the prison camps, than Ms. Coulter learned skiing, dancing on tables, & going to Grateful Dead concerts. She was way out of line, and not too many folks have called her on it.

However, there is little to argue about in that article.

Ann Coulter is controversial no doubt. But she is usually right. And she hates Mccain guts. I dont like Mccain either and I havent made up my mind as to whether I will vote for him.
Republicans are ready to elect a man who earned his reputation acting like a liberal democrat and is falling for ther global warming hoax. His strategists are bragging about how they are going to get the Hillary vote. :BangHead:

Please....the "I called them all this and that but did not intend to make implications about the individual" argument is hardly credible.

And we need to be careful even about calling other people "fools"

But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca, ' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.

When non-believers read these threads, if they do, they will see absolutely no difference between how the posters here "do business" and how it is done in the world.

Salt and light, folks, salt and light.....

There is this collection of 66 books called the Bible. It is constituted by 2 testaments, old and new. In it is told the long and wonderful story of how God has redeemed, and is redeeming the world. And it tells us the values that we are to live by as we participate in building for the Kingdom that God will someday reclaim. Try giving it a read - you will see the attitudes expressed by shockingly many in these threads are not part of the kingdom value set. And you will see that God very much has a place in the politics of this world.

You can argue all you want about how "American" politics is done. Some day you and I both will appear before Jesus and give an account as to how we acquitted ourselves. I suspect that the "that's just the way politics is done" defense will ring rather hollow on that day.
