Just Christian(alatide) has admitted in the past that he realizes there have been actions by Republicans toward abortion but works quickly to dismiss them as not heavy enough to count as significant. This is so he can hold on to his false argument.

You have no idea what I've done for the poor individually. You'd be amazed. As far as America's churches carrying the load I don't think that's possible. There are almost 50 million Americans without medical insurance including 1/5 workers.

There are about 450,000 churches in America of all denominations. If we assume that all supported this effort equally on average that would mean that each church would have to provide medical insurance for about 100 uninsured people. I would guess that a higher percentage of the uninsured have preexisting conditions than in the general population since that's one reason people can't get insurance. They are also probably poorer in general and in worse health. They would have to pay individual not group rates which are much lower. My estimate is it would cost about $5,000 per year to insure one person and that's going up rapidly.

This means that the average church would have to dedicate $0.5M / year to meet just this one need. If your church is doing that it is average. I seriously doubt that even the largest mega-churches in the US are currently spending this much to meet the medical costs of the uninsured. This doesn't count the underinsured or self insurance for those who cannot get medical insurance at any cost.

Your initial premise is incorrect as usual. The 50 million uninsured is a bogus number.

Isn't talking about freewill an oxymoron for an Obama-mite?

It's called eugenics....where Hitler got some of his ideas. Propogated by the founder of Planned Parenthood. Perhaps we should have a whole topic on eugenics, it's origins and followers and US government funding....not that it would matter to the moles on the board.
