The GOP continues to show they can be a party of no, but not a party that can correct and govern.

How can the GOP be blamed if the courts rule that the meaning of the word "state" in the legislation written by the Democrats was a "state" in the United States?

At any rate, the insurance is unaffordable and has huge deductibles so people who have the insurance still can't get medical attention because of the high cost.

The bill was written by the Democrats without any input by anyone else because the Democrats would not allow anyone else to have any input. Now that the plan is collapsing as impractical, the Democrats seek to blame the GOP. It could be that the public is stupid enough to believe it.

With premium increases between 10% and 50% for 2016 being announced in a few days perhaps CTB can manage to find an opinion piece blaming that on the Republicans too.

The OP is just more wishful thinking.

    • Who wasted untold amounts of time and money voting over 50 times trying to kill Obamacare instead of correcting what they saw as faults. The GOP controlled House.
    • Who brought the case that is now before the Supreme Court? The GOP.
    • Who has been publically hyper-critical of Obamacare. The GOP.
    • Who has done nothing to "fix" the healthcare for those who will no long have health insurance? The GOP.
    • Who will the public look too and blame if their healthcare is lost? The GOP.
    • And it is a Republican controlled Supreme Court. Five Republican appointees and four Democratic appointees.

Whether you believe this is fair or not, it will be what happens. [/SIZE]

All of those in your list are characterizations and personal opinion. They do, however, leave out facts such as the costs to the states that they do not want to carry. Your post also assumes people are pleased with Obamacare and would be upset to any changes or its loss. This is false. The current state of obamacare is that people have not been able to keep their doctors as promised by obama. They have not been able to keep their plans as promised by Obama. The costs have gone up rather than gone down as promised by Obama. The American people have been lied too and they do not appreciate the lies, the current state of their insurance, or its future.

But thanks for the DNC talking points. You have followed your orders well.

Sorry, Republicans: Obamacare is getting more and more entrenched

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...bamacare-is-getting-more-and-more-entrenched/

Republicans May Have to Save Obamacare

The Journal said that if Obamacare subsidies disappeared in states with (mostly) Republican governors, there could be another “friendly-fire massacre” as people blamed the party for the collapse of the individual insurance market.

What is not being said here by the extremists on the left is the negative effects of Obamacare.

    1. Excessive wait times for appointments have become a regular thing.

    2. Premiums have skyrocketed.

    3. People do not have the plans they wanted.

    4. People have lost the plans they loved.

    5. People are having to pay for services they neither want nor need.

    6. Many Doctors are closing shop.

    7. Many Doctors are accepting only cash payments.

There is more but we get the picture.

I cannot believe this thread. Think about it. The whole thread is based on a difference between Democrats and Republicans. What an affront to a Holy God. They are both guilty of advancing gay marriage which will become legal in all 50 states by the end of June. They are both equally hand drenched in blood off the slaughter of innocent children. They just go about it differently. The Democrats proclaim it from the mountain top. The Republicans shout right to life at election time then nothing happens. Both parties operate from the depths of hell. There is about as much difference between the two parties as there is Siamese twins. Both parties disrespect the Constitution. What is he difference between Mitch McConnell and President Obama? Not one thing. The clowns better wake up or you are going to have a choice of Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton, which is better than you deserve.

Yes they are. Republicans have been in office with a President, Congress, and conservative Supreme Court and nothing got done. Baloney. We are a nation that respects life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, and BOTH parties pursue the exact opposite. So how do you think a Holy God looks at our governing officials. How do you justify any of their actions compared to the US Constitution? Just the other day, Mitch McConnell who is one of our Senators, was making a speech praising Obama. How do you come to the conclusion that there is a difference when abortion is still legal? How do you justify a difference when the Republicans support gay marriage as much as Democrats? How do you justify their actions in sending our troops to war without a declaration from Congress? How do you justify your position when both parties run up record deficits, fail to address immigration, refuse to reform Social Security and Medicare, and support the Patriot Act? Both parties operate out of the pits of hell. So, I would appreciate you showing me one difference where the two parties differed in the mind set of either the Constitution or a Holy God. Most up there are thieves, liars, interested in serving themselves instead of the people.

This is what comes of passing a bill no one has read.

Funny thing is that clause was put in the bill intentionally.

The whole bill needs to be thrown out and rewritten in the light of day.

Frankly, you have proven nothing as you give only your opinion.

The man is right. The GOP now controls two branches of the federal government and yet they get nothing done other than saying, NO, and fighting among themselves.

They have had plenty of time to correct any real problems, but they have simply continued their squabbling and doing nothing of consequence.

If the SC rules in their favor what will they do about the 7 to 9 million US citizens who will find themselves with no insurance ... and the large majority of those folk will be in states that are controlled by the GOP.

Here is an example of how dishonest some GOP governors are:

You do not understand the "pickle" they put their state, themselves, and the people of their state in by refusing to set up Obamacare exchanges. Your comment has nothing to do with the reality of what is going on now. The GOP has put themselves into a pickle barrel and the brim is starting to sting.

Montana has an exchange so folk in Montana will not be suddenly without medical insurance if the SC rules against the government.

At least one GOP governor seems to understand and is taking steps to negate such a disaster in his state.

This thread is not about who did or did not pass Obamacare. It is about how the GOP will suffer greatly in the eyes of the public if the Supreme Court rules against the government.

    Get with the topic.

And Montana has an Obamacare exchange. Not sure why you are citing the population.

Reminding everyone of how obamacare came about is on-topic.

So the topic is now Montana ?

And I have no doubt my comment went right over your head.
