Have you folks discussed the church this man attends? Am hearing it is radical at best and not run of the mill "Christian" in character. Have no audio to share but will if I find some.

The pastor reportedly feels 911 is our payback for bombing Hiroshima, that rich white Americans are the main problem of blacks and said some very crude things about Clinton and his relation to blacks.

You shouldn't post such gossip without facts to back it up. And what does a pastor's comments have to do with Obama's ability to be President? You been hanging out with Bunnytoes?

Is the church's own web site to be considered "gossip"? It seems like some rather direct statements of their beliefs to me!

    Love you too brother

I heard the pastor on a talk show and wanted to know more about the situtation, and whether anyone knew it to be fact or not - sorry to have offended your sensitivities.

I heard him today too. If Obama has been sitting under this man's teaching for 20+ years, I've got to believe that he agrees with what the man says. If he didn't agree, why would he stay?

The "preacher" is a racist. Ne has no business behind the pulpit of ANY Christian church.

Michele Obama has already paraphrased much of what their "Pastor" has preached.

I have stayed out of most of the Ohbummer bashing so far. the truth is I think he will be a horrible president. I base it on his liberal bent.

But this is a legit issue. It isn't racist to wonder if Ohbummer thinks the same way his pastor does. His pastor seems to be a Jew hatin' racist, and I want to know if Ohbummer is one too.

And who would baptize their children is this hatred ? Remember, Ohbummer, Martin Luther King said is was perfectly fine to judge a man on the content of his character, and I hear he's a big hero to a lot of liberals.

Thank you for posting this information! I've read through most of it - especially the church website - and I'm convinced this church has a very deep racial bias against non-blacks. I'd bet if the colors were swapped around this would really make the news! It does say something about Obama as well and that, I believe, is why it's relevant to this forum. How could he be a member of such a church for so long and not be in harmony with its message? I don't think that's possible so the only logical conclusion is that Obama also has a deep racial bias against non-blacks. While I never liked his politics even one little bit I didn't really realize how he might think on these matters. Now we have even more reason to stand against both him and Clinton as well.

    Title: "Obama's church"?

The last time I checked the Bible the church belongs to Christ Jesus, not to any man or any denomination or any single congregation.

As to this particular congregation it doesn't sound like my cup of tea religiously; however, Christians reside in all kinds of denominations and congregations.

Your logic is deeply flawed. Not that it matters. If Senator Obama was a member in good standing of the congregation where you attend would you vote for him?

I know people who have been going to good, bible-preaching baptist churches for years; yet the preaching has not had a noticeable effect on the way they live.

Although I am concerned with this pastor, I am more concerned with Obama's personal views than I am with what this preacher says.

I see some have stooped to childish take-offs on Obama's name. This juvenile behavior should have been left at the schoolhouse playground. I guess some people just never grow up!

I guess that would be me, eh ?

Ohbummer will be the collective sigh of the American people, should he ascend......

    posted by Ken....
Nope. His liberal policies, lack of any experience, and refusal to get specific rule him out.

If he was a conservative, he most likely wouldn't go to that church.

And like Limbaugh says, perhaps listening to that hateful man yelling for twenty years is why Michelle Ohbummer has such a hard time liking her country.

"The last time I checked the Bible the church belongs to Christ Jesus, not to any man or any denomination or any single congregation." Right you are - shot me down in flames.

Quite a talking point for you but I think we both know what I meant by the title and not what you intimate I meant. I was asking an honest question and some seem to think they know better what I think than I do - now if you were my wife

Thank you, bro. That proves that Dragoon68's logic is flawed as it wouldn't matter what preacher he had listened to for years.

Well, dragonfly, if you were a potential voter for Senator McCain what you would you do?

It's not like conservatives can defend his support for amnesty for illegal aliens, his McCain-Feingold law, or his opposition to President Bush's tax cuts.

I am a Obama supporter and hope he wins the democratic nomination and the presidency, but Sen. McCain deserves my respect both as a man and as someone who fought for our country. If he should win the White House, you won't see me calling him childish names.

If you listen at all to people like Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage you will find things such as the above posted stated. Too bad some have to get their talking points from these types of hate-filled individuals.

Let's not forget in all of this that Senator McCain has his own preacher problem after being endorsed by John Hagee and Rod Parsley.
