However, when the president surrounds himself with people that have such monumental lapses in judgement...does that not speak poorly of the president as a judge of character and/or aptitude?

That has been the achilles of several commanders in chief...and it just might be Obama's.

He got caught doing a very dumb thing. But, he "has a gift" and Americans love him, regardless....what a jerk, and that is being nice.

 

I am proud to be an American and want to do my part. I will therefore return all my deposit bottles to the redemption center (good for the environment) and use the money to buy Photoshop and donate it to the White House Press Office. Then they can safely produce pictures of Air Force 1 in front of any background without startling the general public.

I'm not quite ready to declare President Obama's administration a failure over this unfortunate faux pas. It has been under 100 days. There will be ample opportunity in the years to come.

I've never said that Obama does no wrong. I do not agree with his pro-choice stance but he has the right to believe what he wants about something that is not against the law. I don't know what his view on homosexuality is but what does it matter? I could care less. One's view on homosexuality does not qualify or disqualify them from being President.

I'm sorry but none of what you said can rationally be deemed "worship". I don't know anyone that worships Obama anymore than you conservatives would have appreciated being told you were worshipping Bush.
