I truly hope the Republicans show some back bone and fillibuster. Did this person never hear of the Constitution?

Your hopes are in vain, LE.

Republicans will remain gutless to the end.

The GOP doesn't have the votes to stop this "moderate liberal." Unless, of course, they change their position on using a filibuster to block a vote on her. Or is it only wrong when the Democrats threaten to do it?

We survived Thurgood Marshall and there will never be a bigger activist than he was on the bench so I imagine we will survive Sotomayor. She is only one justice and one vote so the nation is safe.

LE is dreaming.:sleeping_2: canadyjd is right on.

There will be no display of courage on the part of Senate Republicans unless God miraculously provides them with the courage to do so. :praying:

And what have they had to say about the nomination of this socialist judicial activist, Sotomayor?

    We'll see.

Sotomayor is a racist. Do you think they will address that issue?
