This is a very strange development and is of great concern. What purpose is there is a select "council" of ten - out of fifty - governors? What is it that need to do that can not and should not be done through the venues already in place? What "military" matters need coordination between the State and the federal government that's not already handled between the President and the Governors according to law as needed when needed? What problem needs fixing? Why aren't we hearing more about this in the news?

 

Every try to work with a committee of 50 people, each of whom think they are real important and all knowing?

For what reason should martial law be imposed? Anyone have mobs of crazies in their neighborhood? All is peaceful in Washington State.

 

We have 50 states - not 10 - and they are all equal in the union!

 

The whole thing smells fishy to me!

 

Why is this not in the headlines?

the number 10 is biblical, and the rumor posted has real merit!

 

I'm still not seeing anything in the news about this! I guess the ignorant masses can't object if they don't know what's happening.

 

I can not believe there is not more concern about this executive order!

When have Americans been forced to do anything - at least since the end of the draft?

And if the US volunteers to join with Canada and Mexico? Our elected senators vote to join for our mutual benefit? What then?

 

They're about to be forced to sign up for medical insurance - like it or not - and pay more taxes for less services. They're about to be forced to give up their freedom of choice in medical providers, medical procedures, and medical insurance coverage.

 

When I First Heard of Canada, Mexico and America, I...

... thought Americans would probably fight to stop it. I also believed Canadians would fight too....now, I'm not too sure if anyone would fight such change.

Sure, they'd scream and holler, but, like sheep sled to slaughter, I think the people of all three countries [well, Mexico would probably embrace this move] would get out their guns to protect their sovereignty.

No one can be forced to do anything against his will.

 

People can be forced to do a lot of things against their will!
