If I had your attitude supporting abortion I would prayerfully examine the following Scripture:

Revelation 3:19. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Hebrews 12:7. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not.

Hebrews 12:8. But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Not sure, Is the "No" an answer to my question...."Do you understand an abortion is the torturing to death of a small child?".......

I don't think Bushes policies at Gitmo lamed anyone nor killed anyone. Babies are burned to death with chemicals, posioned to death and ripped apart to death one limb at a time.

Do you, JustChristian, understand abortion is the torturing to death of a small child? If yes, do you understand Obama has no moral high ground to stand on?

    God Bless!

Don't be too sure. Anyone who has the gall to take his position on Obama and with a straight face (should I say keyboard) declare he is not a supporter of abortion will post anywhere on any topic with the same degree of credibility.

He has no shame, and obviously feels no guilt or remorse over his hypocritical stance.http://www.baptistboard.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

I disagree. His policy of returning some terrorists to their home countries has resulted in 60+ hitting the terrorist trail again, killing people.

Frankly I believe American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have been saddled with too restrictive rules of engagement. They should have the same rules as those in WWII.

based on his defense of abortion, he doesn't care if children are tortured by being ripped apart, burned to death with chemicals. His great hero approves it so therefore he does too.

this board no longer allows the support of abortion, as it is unbiblical, as is it's support and approval, and may I also say, satanic, to torture a child to death ripping it apart.

I believe there is scientific evidence that babies feel pain while still in the womb.

I have not read every post but the most ironic and pathetic thing about Obama's views is this.

*The tortured is allowed to live and the information gained saves many thousands of lives.
*While the oborted INNOCENT child is murdered or allowed to die a horrible death from neglect.

Obama strongly supports the latter but strongly opposes the former?

    Pretty much says it all.

BTW, they may re-write torture to include dirty looks. Now that is an extreme notion but point made.

When you watch them squirming and fighting to get away from the torture device thats trying to kill them, then you know they feel pain.

It it possible to be against both torture and abortion? I would believe this to be the right position.

While the "board" no longer allows the support of abortion (a statement which in my view can not be strongly supported), there are many members who not only support abortion, but support the continuation of this horrific practice. For those who demand proof, just look at the posts supporting 0bama, the Abortionist in Chief.:tear:

Well, I agree with your Abortionist in Chief statement. But I disagree there are "many" members on here who support abortion - I can count them on two hands (less than 10) and I could name them, but I won't. They are active in the News and Politics forums so it probably seems like "many." From now on, their pro-abortion posts will be deleted without explanation and without exception on any forums that I moderate.

It helps to bear in mind that joining the BB is free and done on a good faith basis. IOW, people can say they are Baptists or even Christians for that matter, even if they aren't really and even if they only attend church occasionally. I have never in my life personally known ANY Baptists who are regular church attendees where the whole counsel of the Word of God is preached to believe abortion is okay, and I've known a lot of Baptists from all parts of this country through the decades. In fact, even the people I know who don't attend church regularly and aren't Baptists do believe abortion is murder. And that includes Catholics, Lutherans, Mormons, etc.

So there are a few on here, but I'm glad the Administrative Council of the Board has taken a stand on this issue which also happens to agree with the Baptist Faith and Message which states that from the moment of conception, children are a blessing and heritage from the Lord.

Amen, Amen, and Amen again Lady Eagle!

The blatand defense of some homosexual agenda's by a few is also a problem. Another issue with a few, some of the same, is the continued promotion of known lies when such was pointed out to be in previous threads. The topic of our historical Christian Heritage and God in the public domain is one example.

They reject the Word of God but don't dare question their Christian faith?
