I can't tell you how many hateful and hurtful comments I have recieved from family and friends today for my decision to vote my convictions.

I needed your post, it helps to lift my spirit!

Daisy, You are so quiet I haven't got to know you well, but you have made me think when I read your posts and I like people who make me think.

I am so sorry you got down about your family. I hope you are encouraged, some of your well written, thoughtful posts helped and at least five of my family and some friends voted with you! BIL is ready to spread information further to do better in 2008, the Lord willing.

 

And I thought I was one of the big mouths! Thank you. I always read your posts when I see them and I always like what I read from you.

 

Now that Bush has almost certainly won, I'm sure they'll back off.

Still, it must hurt. I do congratulate you for taking a principled rather than practical stand. If enough people did that, the principled would be the practical. It takes courage to resist pressure from friends and family.

 

Doing right can often hurt when you do it. But you have a life to think about it. And later, it's better not to regret what you've done.

Sorry, back on topic. May we come together on this board in this political forum as brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ and all get behind our President, no matter our views.

Is GW perfect? No. I can only hope that GW will seek God's face in all of his decisions now. I can only hope President Bush knows it was not allah who put him and retained him in the position of President, but he is only there because of the One True Almighty God, Jehovah!

I pray God will grant him the heart of David, the courage of Daniel, and the wisdom of Solomon, oh, God. Amen.
