Officials say student lied about Hispanic attack

    ==In my opinion, they need to throw the book at her. Those type of false accusations waste police time, money, and resources. Also those type of false accusations ruin innocent people's lives (be they teachers, police officers, etc). I know of people who have lost their jobs over false accusations and a pastor who was thrown in jail over accusations that later turned out to be false. The message from law enforcement needs to be clear: You make false accusations against someone and you will be punished to the fullest extent of the law (fine, prison, whatever...).
