Sounds to me like he might be attempting to intimidate voters.

Well it would help Bush, but there's only one problem. Michael Moore won't be reporting any Kerry supporters who are commiting voter fraud.

I've received a number of calls supporting Bush, none for Kerry.
However, there's so many here who have lost their jobs, too many factories that moved out of the country. We see the ads on tv saying Bush created jobs, but when you walk into McDonald's and see a friend who worked 15 years at a good paying factory job and now is struggling to pay the electric behind the counter asking "do you want fries with that", it's hard to believe.
But...I still think Bush will win Ohio. It may be a half hearted win, but I think people are afraid to not vote for him because of the war. A lot of people equate Bush with physical safety from terrorists, and people want to feel safe. Guess it basically comes down to whether they'd rather be better off financially or feel safe, and I think that 911 opened a lot of people's eyes to the fact that material possessions aren't as important as human lives.

I'm sure you know that the President has actually very little to do with that [IMG]

Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. employers probably added 175,000 workers to payrolls in October, the most in five months, while the unemployment rate held at a three-year low of 5.4 percent, the median forecast in a Bloomberg News survey of economists shows.

The Labor Department's report will be released three days after the Nov. 2 presidential election

I don't know that he doesn't have anything to do with it. The whole time this was happening we were being told Bush made it possible by offering tax breaks to factories who moved out. Who IS responsible?

I read the link you posted, but the fact that there are homeless now in my city when there were none, shelters and food banks are on the rise and being used regularly, tells me there's something not quite accurate about it. There is much concern in Ohio about young couples leaving because they can't find work here, and schools are being closed, bussing shut down, and the quality of education lower because of the lower taxes people pay when, well, they go from 30 years of work to unemployment.

    Little to do with it?

He supports (as does Kerry) government programs such as OPIC, which use tax money to encourage businesses to set up factories overseas, as well as tax incentives. He has promoted MASSIVE immigration, both legal and illegal, with an AMNESTY proposal for illegals. He is a supporter pf FTAA, which is a bigger and worse version of NAFTA.

Why do Christians cover up evil deeds of our elected officials?

Do you attribute any of these causes to September 11th, or to the recession we were already in under Clinton?

I disagree with Bush on several issues, including Federal education spending and illegal immigration. But to think John Kerry will do anything to aid the economy is ludicrous. Raising taxes on the people who create the jobs will further hurt the economy. The tax cuts are working, but it takes time to completely turn things around.

If anything, Kerry will do what most Democratic Presidents have done. He will take office without passing any legislation and take credit for the turnaround in the economy due to his predecessors policies.

The fraud, if it happens will be pretty much as it was last time in Florida.

Police checkpoints at key intersections, "sorry we don't have you on the list; we must have lost that one", "four letters of your last name are the same as a felon's so we aren't going to let you vote", and the like.

There will be attempts to slow down the polling, to create long lines to drive off voters, and the GOP has a list of names from predominately black areas, which they refused to deny were for the purpose of challenging black voters.

It's going to be dirty, like the campaign. I wouldn't be shocked if some dead people voted, either.

That's the way democrats do it. They have non-people voting. Republicans prefer taking rights from legitimate voters.

Which tells you a lot about their respective philosophies.
