"It's time somebody put out the real facts of the case," he told The Associated Press.

NOW??? he wants to put out the facts of the case?

Wasn't the trial the time to do that?

The trial wasn't about his crime. It was about black liberation.

Considering where the trial took place...high-profile trials held there IMO are seldom about truth, justice, innocence...but rather looking for a chance to score points and/or make splashes.

I'm afraid many involved in the Simpson case weren't worried at all as to his guilt or innocence. They were more worried about re-election, the money to be made, or (most likely) they were fearful of reprisals--having the idiots rioting and burning down their city (again) if the verdict didn't go their way.

Didn't Simpson "write" a book describing how the murders took place?

he did write a book but the publisher finally pulled the plug on it because of bad reviews.
