Some will go to any link, no matter how ridiculous, to prove a point. Yes, this mutated deer proves, beyond doubt, that the KJV is the only legitimate translation. Does one seriously believe that this argument is going to change minds? I can tell you that it hasn't changed mine.

It's doubtful writers of Scripture would have written about something that was a rare mutation. In general , writers of Scripture referred to common things that were known to their intended readers.

Do you know of any web site that has the text available for Topsell's 1607 book, especially the entry for "unicorn"?

The traditional unicorn had a billy-goat's beard, a lion's tail, and cloven hooves (and smaller than a standard horse). Notice that scripture is very capable in discribing a one-horned animal (without calling it a "unicorn") in Daniel 8:5-8 (KJV) --
And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat [had] a notable horn between his eyes.
And he came to the ram that had [two] horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.
And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
