Olan Mills Church Directories

We have had several church directories made by Olan Mills and I have always been well pleased with the directory and most of the time with my picture.

In my opinion, it is the photographer's responsibility to see that the pictures are good.

I can't answer about service and costs, but it does seem as if it takes a very long time to get the directories.

I'm sure others have more info.

Are you going to be the photographer or the "high Pressure" sales person?

 

Over the last few years I have worked with Olan Mills on 2 occasions and both times had a great experience. They took quality pictures and all of our people were impressed. We also received a lot of comments from people about the fact that there was no pressure put on them to buy anything. The sales reps showed them what was available and stepped back and let them decide. If they wanted something, great, if not that was great as well.

 

Will pray and good to know that you are not high pressure.

Most people who have their picture made know what they want. I always get the free one because my son is a photographer. He was laughing the other day because I had not ordered pictures from proofs that he sent me. He said, "Surely, you can order when it is free"? I just can't make up my mind which ones I want. They are all so good.

He explained why the pictures he takes of me are better "he removes some of the wrinkles".

From a customer's point of view, I will not buy anything from a "high pressure" sales person, but when a person says here is what is available and gives me a chance to "think", then I will buy.

We had Olan Mills here last year! They followed us all the way through the preliminary---to the proofs---to the pictures---to the pictorals---super job---top notch sales people and photographer!!

They have done a great service for our church for years.
