I learned a valuable lesson this weekend...
Don't ever schedule two baby-sitting jobs on back to back nights if they are both late jobs. Friday, I babysat until 1 am (saturday morning) then I had to be at my next babysitting job at 6 Saturday night. Didn't get home until 11 and still had to get up for church...I need a weekend to recoup from my weekend

I know that any of the adults who read this will say "you're still young Grace" but they don't know the kids I kept last night....

No, Grace, I wouldn't say something like that. I'm a teacher, I know how much energy, mentally as well as physically, some children can take out of you!

Oh Grace, I know what you mean! I used to babysit for a single mother of 4. Ages 1 to 7. Those were the wildest children I've yet to encounter, and that's saying a lot!
There idea of fun was to jump from high places, such as the dinning room table, and off the 4 ft. patio drop. They loved throwing things at breakable stuff. The littleist loved splasing me when I geave him a bath.
I've heard kids will be kids, but oh my! Needless to say, the had no disapline, and were left alone a lot. It's sad. They moved to live with their dad and step mom who now have 4 more kids.
I do miss them. They tired me out, but they could be so sweet. They hated for me to leave {Which is odd, cause most people want to get rid of me!} and always made things at school for me.
I guess you take the good with the bad.

Learned another one...you can't drink and talk at the same time. You will wear your beverage of choice. (In my case, diet Sprite)
