On one forum I visited there was a one on one forum in which two members could address an issue uninterrupted. I think this would bring a more serious level to a debate, and given the number of issues here that are ongoing, it might be an avenue of closure for some topics or members.

    Just a thought.

    God bless.

I have never thought of such, but considering how a few on this board simply love to get involved in threads for no other apparent reason than to agitate/denigrate/castigate the originator of an OP, seems like a great idea for serious discussions.

The Shoutbox was supposed to do that.
Where people can get on it and communicate with each other in real time.
So the threads won't be diluted with off topic discussions.

The shoutbox is more for simple chat rather than serious debate. Most of the small talk for some of us is done in the threads amidst discussion and debate.

A one on one is for the purpose of debating a particular issue, which is, again, between the two involved.

    God bless.
