We have decided that since Obama is so czar happy (appointing more czars than Russia had in 300 years), he will be appointing more. So before he appoints a yard sale czar or an eBay czar, we are cleaning out everything we haven't used in 5 years and are going to get what we can for our "stuff." Besides, if the rapture happens, the AC will get our good stuff and we won't have any use for it after we're gone, and if we aren't raptured before the GT, money won't be worth anything eventually anyway, so we might as get what money we can NOW while the getting is good.

Just thought I'd pass this tip along to my fellow Rapture watchers at the BB. Have a HUGE YARD SALE and sell eBay while you can - before money deflates or the Obama czars are appointed! (and yes, I'm serious, this isn't a joke) :type:

Actually, it's no laughing matter that some folks are already selling personal possessions just to help make ends meet. BO is going to have to raise taxes on everything and anything in order to pay for all his socialistic programs and irresponsible spending. Who do you guess will be paying all those taxes? We are!

Don't laugh too hard, matt. Check out this and see if you are still laughing. To think it won't eventually include eBay is just to have your head in the sand. And once that passes, yep, mom and pop yard sales will eventually be included, I have no doubt. (Some frequent yard sellers have a little business going under the radar right now....)

Once you know evil is afoot to take away individual freedom, internet freedom, and to destroy capitalism, (which has already been demonstrated in the first 3 months of this administration), it's very easy to predict what is coming down the pike. You don't have to be a prophet or prophetess to predict the natural course of evil.

And people thought that he will not tax anyone under a $200,000 income. :BangHead:

You realize you just referred me to a bill that was introduced in 1999 and hasn't gone anywhere since then, right?

Ernest Hollings, the Senator that introduced the bill, isn't even in the Senate anymore.

Mel, this bill was introduced in 1999 and has nothing to do with Obama.

Don't you have any good advice for those of us who put Scripture ahead of Darby/Scofield.

EXCEPT....It was announced on FNC over the weekend, that it is going to be reintroduced again this week. So, okay, my link was an old one. (I was in a hurry....)

    Try this one for size:

Yes....first this has nothing to do with a "yard sale czar" or "eBay czar".

Second, the bill in 1999 wasn't the only bill that's ever been introduced for an Internet tax. Politicians have been wanting to tax sales on the Internet for a long time. It hasn't passed yet and I don't expect it to pass this time.

Just because a bill is introduced doens't mean it passes. In fact, most bills don't pass. Do you realize how many off the wall and stupid bills are introduced all the time?

matt, this bill will pass this time, with a Democratic controlled congress and Obama will sign it. Watch and see.

And, along with passage of the bill will come another Obama czar to oversee the internet sales. But believe whatever you want to believe. I believe what I believe. :)

You have to admit, it's a great motivation for cleaning out stuff! :)

Trying to keep one step ahead of Obama....

What will be the next assault on American liberty that Chief Czar Obama and his appointed czars come up with?

Will it be an internet tax? I am trying to outguess this guy and his czars to figure out what will be next..perhaps they have plotted to tax internet usage (to kill first amendment rights and especially the exchange of communication since the liberal media never vetted him before election).

I will not be surprised if there is a government imposed Internet Tax, a tax so outrageous that the average internet user will not be able to afford to pay it and therefore, will not have internet access. The government will claim they need the money to offset all the trillions that have gotten our nation in debt for. I will not be surprised if this has already been dreamed up by them to be dumped on us in the coming months. I say, use the Internet freely now, post all of your opinions now while you still have a voice that has not been silenced! :) I am posting this now just to see if my prediction about this administration and the internet tax comes true. I am trying to get my mind wrapped around how a tyrant thinks....

Meanwhile, we are continuing to clean out everything and get rid of material goods, i.e., our good junk. We can always use the money now and if we are raptured or killed during the coming days of tyranny, we won't need our junk any longer anyway.

If you are from the Homeland Security Czar's office, please keep logging my IP. I will continue to post my thoughts about your boss until you haul me away or impose the internet tax. But you will have a very, very busy job because there are a lot of us who know what you czars are up to and some people are starting to figure it out as your reign reaches into our private lives and wallets...... :)

Wait a second....I thought Obama was a socialist. Part of the socialist agenda would be nationalizing internet access, right?

This makes no sense. If things are going to get as bad as you and others make it out to be, you should be holding onto your material goods! You'll need them for barter when the dollar isn't worth anything at all. If you want to act like a consiracy theorist, you need to think like one. You really are disappointing me.
