I'm seeing the signs everywhere; at least - on a semi-truck going down the highway with the sides as bulletin boards, posters, flyers, bumper stickers and on the internet.

Nothing against you, Benjamin... but i hope you have.

It would be wonderful if God brought it all to an end. I'm not counting on it, but I'd sure like for it to happen.

    Matthew 24:
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Notice verse 36, no man knows that day or hour. Think about this Chrsit came and fuliflled 4 of the seven feast of Israel, He did it exactly as they fell on the calender. He died the day before passover in order to be the passover lamb, he took the leaven for us in His death on the cross, he became the first fruits of ressurrection for us and the Holy Spirit.

But the feast of ingathering has yet to be fulfilled it comes in September for the Jews and it has yet to be fulfilled as the other two feast of that time. Could it be that God will fulfill those feast as He fulfilled the other 4 right on time, at the same time of year?

On that website, it said that Jesus was born in 7 BC, and was crucified in 33 AD. That would make him 40 years old. First time I've heard that.

Does anybody remember the book, Eighty-eight Reasons Jesus is Coming Again in 1988?

And does anybody remember what the new date for the Second Coming set by the Jehovah's Witnesses? I think the first date was 1914. And the latest revision I can recall was 1975. There must be a new date out there somewhere.

Several years ago, a call came into the newsroom at the TV station. A very agitated woman was on the line. She was the pastor of a country church called The Old Gospel Barn. And she had just gotten the word that Jesus was coming back in three days, and she wanted me to put her on the air to warn the people. In fact, she said, he was already here, but was keeping himself invisible until it was time. She was quite insistent that I interrupt our regular program to put her on.

I told her sorry, I couldn't do that. She got really agitated and told me, "Boy, you better or it's the Pit for you." Then she started speaking in tongues and hung up on me. I have to admit I was relieved when the three days were over.

But even that pales in comparison to the three men who showed up at the TV station over a period of time, all claiming to be Jesus, all wanting to go on the air and tell people Jesus was baaaaack.

I ask one of the Jesuses to tell me about the creation, since he was there. Was it seven 24-hour days, or some other period of time? He said, "I'm a little fuzzy on that." I told him when it got clearer to him to come back and see me.

The source of this so-called "prophecy" is our old friend Harold camping of Family Radio.

Baptist Press has an article today about all this. Here's a line or two from the article by Ralph Tone of Lifeway Christian Resources.
    Another one:
    The full article is here:
    http://www.bpnews.net/BPFirstPerson.asp?ID=35266

Remember, the test of a true prophet is that what he prophesies will happen (Jeremiah 28:9) If he misses one, he's not from God. Camping missed one.

Let me make another quick point from Ralph Tone's BP article.

It quoted Harold Camping's tract as saying "Satan has been employed by God to officially rule all of the churches."

Isn't that perilously close to blasphemy?

It's already happened and we are in the Tribulation. Today (May 11) in Wyoming Alltel phones went dead and AT&T took over - twice the cost and worse service.

It HAS to be the end of the world.

That isn't just perilously close, it is blasphemy. Satan employed by God - good grief. Even a novice in the scriptures knows that is nonsense.

Satan ruling all the churches is ridiculous as well as insulting to the Head of the church, the King of the Kingdom of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. He's the head of the corner, the sure foundation, the tried stone. He walks among the golden candlesticks having the seven stars in His hand. He is enthroned on the right hand of the Majesty on high. God forbid He should ever be described in a contrary fashion.

Yes I do! I got saved that year out of fear that could happen in 1988. Just goes to show that God can use feeble attempts at prediting the Lords return to make people think about the reality of the Lords return.:type:

We are 10 days from once again discovering how creative prognosticators can be in explaining away their failed prophecies while losing very few of their benighted followers.

I guess Camping's next move will be to declare all radio stations under the rule of Satan and that truth comes over the internet only, via Camping's web page.

And what will be the next final date of earth according to bible-math genius Camping?
