I would like to know how we are "stealing" their oil. If anyone is raping us at the gas pump, it is them.

I still would like to know how we are stealing their oil. Don't they get rich off of selling their stupid oil to us? How can any reasonable person think we are stealing oil? Oh, wait - they're not reasonable, they're reprobates.

I should go on a terrorist forum and ask the stealing your oil question...

I caught a clip of his propaganda, and noticed how well he seems to be parroting the anti-war fear mongering of the Democrats to scare Americans and British into submission....Polly want a Vietnam?

If we used a mixture of Ethanol and Gasoline for our fuel supply, that would be the finish of imported oil from the middle east. Plus farmers would have alot more work to grow the wheat or Sugar Cane to produce the Ethanol.

I think that it is time that western countries became self sufficent in there fuel supply and if that means switching from Gasoline to Ethanol, or a mixture of the two why not? Why import what we can grow ouselves?

Because ethanol is a lousy fuel, when you consider the cost of production per BTU. It is also hard on engine parts. You'd also need far larger fuel tanks for the comparable distance traveled.

A much better solution is to get on a rapid drilling program in every place that's viable. Environmental concerns are nearly completely dealt with these days.

An aggressive nuclear (nucular, GWB) program is absolutely the soundest producer of electrical energy.

LOL! That ought to be an interesting conversation. I think that the 'stealing oil' conspiracy is for middle easterners as the 'elvis spotted in Burger King' is to Americans. BTW, we heard that a lot when the USS COLE was attacked. And we paid for that oil, twice.
