Wow did we get our butts spanked! OSU didn't even look like a team out there. I only was able to watch them play Michigan this year and that was an entirely different team than who was playing last night.

It was nice to Chris Leak get some recognition, he lives just down the street from where I am working right now and was a high school star here.

Congrats to the Gators, they played great!

 

You are not alone, a lot of OSU fans are trying to figure who that was in Glendale the other night.
My wife is from OH, i don't think she has recovered from that game yet.

As for me, as an LSU fan, i was going for the SEC all the way!

I was pulling for the Buckeyes since I lived in Columbus from 75-80, but man alive. It was a game long, merciless, unending THRASHING.

OSU looked like a high school team playing a college team.

A MUCH MUCH better game was seen at the Fiesta Bowl.

My Broncos proved they can play with the 'big boys'.

Boise State University has arrived!!!!

We are the ONLY college team which went undefeated this year INCLUDING a Major Bowl Game. Put THAT in your hat folks!!!

 

I think BSU's finish shows the need for a playoff...

But........


Beating an overrated OU team, Big (Little) 12 Champion in a very down year to bookend a season of cupcakes and a few mediocre teams does not deserve a coronation.

Don't get me wrong. I think BSU could go toe-to-toe with just about any team in the country, but I think if they played in a major conference, they'd have at least a loss or two.

 

Yea. Too bad huh? All the so-called major coferences are east of the Big Muddy.
Still, they beat OU. And who says they (OU) were overrated. You? Evidently the powers that be who lined up the bowl games for the year didn't think so. Everyone said BSU did not deserve to even BE in the Fiesta Bowl, but I guess we put the "Big Dogs" under the porch didn't we?

Don't get me wrong. I KNOW BSU could go toe to toe with ANY team in the nation and beat them. You could whine about their schedule all you want. The bottom line is 13-0-0 and NOBODY can say that this year. Folks make excuses for their record. Bad day this, injury that. 13-0-0. We deserved to face off with Ohio and we'd have beat them also. Florida got lucky cuz according to the 'talking heads' Ohio wasn't up to snuff. WAAAAAAAAA!!!!
