This is rather old news confirmed to most northwesterners.

"Mexican drug cartels have infiltrated Oregon, and their reach has extended throughout the Northwest."

    http://www.statesmanjournal.com/vie.../Drug-cartels-reach-extends-Pacific-Northwest

People are accosted on walks into the wilderness because they stumble onto drug operations, many of the south of the borders arrested are related to the drug problems - if not hauling them or distributing them - are on them.

Yep, more of those unfortunate folks up here doing the jobs Americans don't want to do.:tonofbricks:

Glad Washington is finally talking about building that fence they ordered built so many years ago and didn't get around to and most likely won't get around to this time around either.

The borders are secure enough that you couldn't get out of the country if you are on one of many "watch lists". On the other hand If you were say a 9/11 hijacker or one of the "Boston Bombers" that had so many red flags swirling around them your entry into the country would be expedited.

There must an express line for drug dealers and suspected terrorists entering the country somewhere.
