Any one out there interested ina outdoor ministry? Want to get involved instarting one? I have outfiter gear to accomodate 18 people. This is a ministry not a recreational service. Aeras of interest Christian discipleship, divorce care, and mission trips. Can camp anywhere. Need a program developer-integrater. Someone who knows God's word. Even a retired minister. Need cooks who know how to prep a food budget, menu planning, and a NOLS food ration. And Dutch Oven cooking as well and a camp Jack to help :D set up. It takes about ten hours. No outdoor experience required just a heart for the Lord, heart for people, a talent for the work chosen. Program director should have good communication, interpersonal skills be cautious in using experiential education methods and group dynamics. All workers should have a knolwdge about Baptist doctrine. I am 54 years old, Master of education, dislocated worker, 50 days of Outward Bound, 30 days of Wilderness Education Association, and Wilderness First Responder. Blessed with some great gear and want to see it used for the Glory of the Lord. If you the Lord leading you into this kind of ministry go for it.
